ABOUT MOTIF

Motif was founded by Camille Rodriguez Brigant to expand on the truly customized, personal touch she has developed with her clients over the years. Frustrated by the assembly line, one-size-fits-all approach used by big conglomerate firms that pass the customer along from one person to the next until closing, Motif creates Agents for Life. When you work with a Motif agent, you develop a relationship with one agent from start to finish and it doesn’t end there. Motif is committed to continuing our relationship with our clients for years to come. From helpful reminders like filing your homestead, to providing reliable, affordable contractor and care giver referrals, to invitations to events and volunteer opportunities in your neighborhood, Motif provides you tools and resources for life.

AGENTS FOR LIFE

Camille Rodriguez Brigant

Camille Rodriguez Brigant decided to start her boutique real estate agency Motif to expand on the truly customized, personal touch she had developed with her clients over the years. She has seen so many customers frustrated by the one-size-fits-all approach used by big conglomerate agencies.  Instead, Camille sees each of her clients with fresh eyes, and will create an innovative, specialized strategy that serves YOU.

Born and raised in San Antonio, Camille’s first job was working in her mother’s realty firm.  After graduating from Princeton University, she worked in both residential and commercial real estate on the West Coast and Louisiana before returning home to focus on her home community.  Camille is a broker, a Platinum Top 50 Realtor Award finalist, a Top 100 Hispanic Realtor (two years running), as well as an Historic Home Specialist and a Senior Real Estate Specialist.

Camille is a proud resident of the Jefferson neighborhood, where she and her husband are carefully restoring a mid-century modern treasure.  They enjoy filling their home with the work of local artists, and working on their backyard garden and chicken coop.  In addition to being an active alumna of the Texas Military Institute and Princeton, she is a supporter of many local arts, conservation, and historic preservation groups.

You can reach Camille directly at Camille@MotifTX.com or 210-802-9797.

Enid Barrios

Enid Barrios was a small business owner in South Texas for decades before turning her skills towards real estate. Enid became a realtor to help people, even if only for a short (and sometimes emotional!) time.  Her businesses have always been built on the one-to-one connection, on trust, and on her desire to provide a calm and compassionate sounding board in the face of a stressful moment.  As someone who has moved many times herself, Enid will gladly hold your hand, answer every question, run interference with lenders and vendors and agents, and always keep your best interests in mind. Enid is an Accredited Staging Professional, Senior Real Estate Specialist and a Historic Homes Specialist.

Before she was a realtor, Enid worked with event planners and advertising agencies to help create stunning occasions.  Now she uses that visual sensibility to help her clients stage their homes to SELL.  Without any added cost, she can take your home – whatever shape it may be in – and help you turn it into a charming and lovely possibility for someone new.  Enid has two sons, Joe and Leo, and a rescue pit bull, Charlie.  A proud Aggie, she is a member of the San Antonio A&M Club.

You can reach Enid directly at Enid@MotifTX.com or 210-410-3213.

Fred

Federico Carranza

Federico served his community as a social worker for nearly three decades before becoming a realtor, and his desire to help and uplift others continues. Federico’s level of commitment to his clients is complete and holistic – he won’t just show you a house, he’ll survey schools and churches, pull maps of hiking and biking trails, recommend the best local restaurants, and introduce you to your new neighborhood association. He builds his business on helping a family work towards a common goal, even investing months in guiding first-time homeowners through the pre-qualification process. If buying or selling a home is nerve-wracking for you, Federico is the steady, confident guide you can’t do without. He is also both a Senior Real Estate Specialist and a Historic Homes Specialist.

In addition to his real estate practice, Federico holds a number of volunteer leadership positions, including delivering food for the San Antonio Food Bank and supporting his local Boy Scout troop, and serving as a eucharistic minister for St. Paul’s Catholic, as well as President of the Sunshine Estates Neighborhood Association (a community he has lived in for over 20 years). As brand-new empty nesters, Federico and his wife of 23 years enjoy running marathons, hiking in Big Bend and other state parks, and watching college football with their beloved cats and dogs.

You can reach Federico directly at Federico@MotifTX.com or 210-884-6934.

Michael Lane

Michael Lane is a native Texan, born in Houston and receiving his masters in architecture from Texas A&M before coming to San Antonio. He designed work for the Garza/Bomberger firm and the Alamo Colleges District Facilities office, as well as taught architectural drafting at St. Phillips College. He decided to work in real estate to combine his expertise in building with his love of his own historic home and neighborhood.

If you live in the Jefferson historic area, or just enjoy Halloween, you may already know Michael Lane. With his wife, artist Margaret Craig, his home has been featured many times in local media for their extravagant Halloween decorations. In fact, Michael and Margaret were married at one of their infamous Halloween parties.

You can often find him constructing everything from medieval armor to scale models and dioramas of military vehicles, writing paranormal fiction (look him up on Kindle!), or looking after his four cats, a dog, and a parrot.

You can reach Michael directly at Realtor@Motiftx.com or 210.685.8406.
